This role offers hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, working directly with our in-house engineer and plant manager to improve production processes, develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and analyze operational efficiency.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Partner with the Plant Manager and Engineer to develop, document, and standardize\u00a0Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)\u00a0for production lines<\/li>\n<li>Conduct\u00a0time studies and process observations\u00a0to evaluate labor efficiency and identify improvement opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Assist in analyzing workflow, bottlenecks, and production performance<\/li>\n<li>Support implementation and adherence to\u00a0Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)<\/li>\n<li>Collect and organize production data for reporting and decision-making<\/li>\n<li>Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and recommend process enhancements<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate documentation and ensure updates to SOPs reflect current practices<\/li>\n<li>Follow all safety protocols and company policies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>High attention to detail and organizational ability<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested applicants can learn more information and apply online <a href=\"https:\/\/app.joinhandshake.co.uk\/public\/jobs\/278854?utm_source=web&amp;utm_campaign=job_share&amp;utm_medium=copy_link&amp;utm_content=emp-copy_link-all_jobs_page\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lufkin Mfg &amp; Sales is seeking a summer Engineering &amp; Operations Intern.
