Please tell us about your future plans once you graduate from Southern Arkansas University. <\/strong><\/p>

Upon graduation, I plan to seek a job in banking or insurance sales. Eventually, I would like to get a certified general appraiser license.<\/p>

How are your experiences in the Rankin College of Business preparing you for your professional career?<\/strong><\/p>

The Rankin College of Business has prepared me in many ways for my professional career. My experiences here have strengthened my social as well as professional skills. I have made lifelong friends as well as valuable connections.<\/p>

What specific courses have been your favorite, and why?<\/strong><\/p>

Quantitative Analysis 1 with Ms. Givens was my favorite course I have taken in the RCB. Ms. Givens has the ability to take instructional information that would otherwise seem bland and turn it into a problem that has real life application.<\/p>

Do you have any favorite memories with Rankin College of Business faculty or fellow students?<\/strong><\/p>

I remember locking myself in the University Hall study room with my best friend and studying for Dr. Warrick\u2019s Accounting 2 exam. 4 hours later, something clicked and we finally understood the material.<\/p>

What advice would you offer to a new student beginning their course of study at the Rankin College of Business? <\/strong><\/p>

Take the opportunities that are presented to you and make the most of them. Also, get to know your professors personally.
