Artist Biography: <\/strong>Born and raised in Texarkana, Arkansas, Samantha Moore experienced art in many forms, from playing video games, to reading novels, to watching cartoons and movies. Although not initially interested in pursuing art, this would change as Samantha would enter Junior High, and took art as an elective. Her art teacher there took interest in her work and challenged her to improve, something that made her want to continue to work on her art skills. In high school, she decided to pursue a higher education and enroll in Southern Arkansas University. Samantha Moore is a digital artist, who specializes in character art and illustrations. She creates characters inspired by her own struggles and those around her, while sprinkling unique fantasy elements in the mix in order to create fun and colorful, yet grounded and flawed characters. She also enjoys working with more experimental ideas and concepts, as well as trying new media, from 3-d modeling, to acrylic, to traditional pen and ink. As of late, she has found great admiration for the spontaneity, and the \u201cdo it yourself\u201d philosophy of zines, creating several of her own works, of wildly varying topics. To Samantha, the most appealing part of being an artist is that there are so many styles, and mediums that there is nearly limitless potential in what can be created, and how you can make it. Inspiration is everywhere, from simple day to day activities to more intangible thought. There is always more you can create, and this is inspiring for Samantha Moore.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

I’ve always enjoyed Chris Pratt in his films, and I thought I’d try my hand at doing a friendly caricature of him with items and creatures from the movies he’s been in. He tends to be in a lot of serious, action films, despite being rather goofy, and I tried to keep that balance in his pose, and the overall cartoonish style I used. I also tried to keep the colors bright and lively, as well as using complementary colors as I feel that reflects his upbeat personality well.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
