Artist Biography: Alejandra Cornejo is a Digital Artist who mostly focuses on character concept creation and illustration. Originally from a small town in Sinaloa, Mexico, Alejandra moved to the USA when she was only seven. Whether it was a humanoid persona or an anthropomorphic character, to even creature designs, Alejandra would transform that idea into a traditional sketch on any paper she could find. After discovering the world of digital art, Alejandra made a decision that would change her previous way of creating art. Throughout her years in college, she has also acquired the ability to transform a character’s 2D concept and into a 3 dimensional model, which she then found the process to be extremely interesting within the 3d programs used to create it.
As a concept artist, Alejandra searches for many inspirations to help in the goal of creating original and unique characters. Her style has dramatically changed throughout the years, from a realistic to more stylized characters that are largely inspired by the Japanese manga art style. By giving them each their own personalities, Alejandra hopes that in a future she can take these characters and apply them into a Webcomic that is currently in the process of writing. She also aspires to captivate her viewers or readers with each character concept she creates.
When Alejandra isn’t drawing or envisioning new characters or story ideas, she loves to spend her time reading many manga, webtoons, or watching different anime, as well as playing video games. Truly living our her free time like the nerd that she is.

Some simple creature illustrations of my own imagination.
