{"id":1142,"date":"2014-10-08T13:08:33","date_gmt":"2014-10-08T18:08:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/admissions\/?page_id=1142"},"modified":"2024-09-25T09:49:38","modified_gmt":"2024-09-25T14:49:38","slug":"tes","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/admissions\/apply\/transfer\/tes\/","title":{"rendered":"Transfer Course Equivalencies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Southern Arkansas University\u2019s transfer equivalency site is provided as a guide for our prospective transfer students.\u00a0 The Transfer Evaluation System (TES) provides access to course equivalencies that are a helpful estimate of how a prospective student\u2019s courses will transfer to SAU.\u00a0 In addition, Arkansas has a course transfer system for general education transfer courses.\u00a0 It can be reviewed at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adhe.edu\/institutions\/academic-affairs\/arkansas-transference-and-articulation\/arkansas-course-transfer-system\">the ACTS website.<\/a> Please read the following information before you continue with TES:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use the TES system as an informal evaluation tool for transfer credit to SAU.<\/li>\n<li>The fact that a course appears in the list is no guarantee that the course will transfer in your individual case.<\/li>\n<li>Final determination of transfer credit acceptance is ultimately made by the deans and\/or department chairs.\u00a0 This determination will be made during initial meetings with your assigned academic advisor.\u00a0 You must submit official transcripts of all completed coursework before a final determination can be made on credit transfer.<\/li>\n<li>A class listing in the system does not guarantee that it is currently offered at either school.<\/li>\n<li>Courses transfer to SAU on the same level as taken (lower or upper division) at the original institution.<\/li>\n<li>Only courses with a grade of C or higher will transfer to SAU.<\/li>\n<li>Course equivalencies may change at any time without notice.
