Based on the current trends in the job market of communication and marketing, this program brings together a cross-disciplinary focus of Communication Design, Marketing, and Digital Media. The skills and knowledge from these related fields will produce graduates conversant in the language and concepts of business and equipped with the skills necessary to design in a variety of communications platforms, including today\u2019s online interactive world.<\/p>\n

Learning Goals<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Students will be able to communicate orally, visually and in written form to support a visual art or design decision.<\/li>\n
  2. Students will understand art in terms of its civic and ethical impact.<\/li>\n
  3. Students critically analyze\u00a0visual design problems, synthesize information and create pieces with\u00a0corresponding\u00a0written or oral language to support their outcomes.\u00a0<\/em><\/li>\n
  4. Students employ\u00a0traditional art techniques and technological knowledge necessary to work in the\u00a0art and design community.<\/li>\n
