This means Dr. Drexler is concluding his two classes (General Anthropology and North American Indians), giving finals, and preparing for commencement.<\/p>\n<p>We are also busied at this time of year with wrapping up some research projects that need to be finished come summer. This year&#8217;s efforts include reports on the spring&#8217;s surveys at Elkins&#8217; Ferry and Wallace&#8217;s Ferry battlefields. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.arkansaspreservation.com\">Arkansas Historic Preservation Program<\/a> is due a report on the former, and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.arkansashumanitiescouncil.org\">Arkansas Humanities Council<\/a> gets one for the latter.<\/p>\n<p>It is also time to start looking to June and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.arkarch.org\">Arkansas Archeological Society&#8217;s<\/a> annual <a href=\"http:\/\/www.arkarch.org\/index.php?pages\/dig_page\">Training Program<\/a> dig. This year, we are returning to <a href=\"http:\/\/archeology.uark.edu\/richards-bridge-excavations\/\">Richards Bridge<\/a> (3CT11), near West Memphis. We will start the weekend of June 4, and run through the 19th. Check out the Society website for details.
