How to Register
Southern Arkansas University students must meet criteria as determined by their academic in order to web register through Campus Connect. To web register, a student must:
- Meet all criteria specified in the printed and online schedule,
- Clear all holds,
- Be approved by your academic advisor (graduate students exempt),
- Have a trial schedule prepared, if required, by your academic advisor, and
- Arrange payment through the Business Office or E-Cashier, and submit a signed Statement of Account/Schedule by the published payment deadline to ensure that your class schedule is not canceled.
Register Online
Print the following instructions for online registration before beginning. At the end of these instructions there is a link to web registration.
To web register, including adding and dropping courses, you should first sign in to Campus Connect (link provided below these instructions) then:
A log-in screen will appear. Enter your 9 digit student identification number or social security number as your student ID. Enter your 8-digit birth date (i.e., mmddyyyy) as your Pin (e.g., April 10, 1979 would be entered as 04101979). Press Enter.
You may have a hold on your account. Depending on the type of hold, you may be able to proceed with registering. Some holds are informational for the advisor and the student for proper course placement. If the hold prohibits you from continuing, contact the office that has placed the hold.
The next screen lists your e-mail address and login information for Blackboard and SAU email. There is also a payment deadline reminder on this screen. Now click on Registration and then Add/Drop Courses.
Select a semester and department by clicking on each and then click the List Courses button to the right of the screen.
All the courses offered for the term in the department you selected will appear. Choose the course in which you want to enroll and click on the blue Add button at the end of the line.
After clicking the Add button, the next screen will display your schedule. To add another course, click on Select a different semester or department.
To view your Statement of Account/Schedule, click on Student Information and then Review/Pay Account.
The courses you enrolled in for the selected semester will be listed on the screen. Check the Statement of Account/Schedule for accuracy. You must submit a signed Statement of Account/Schedule and payment to the Business Office by the payment deadline. If you have sufficient financial aid and do not need to make a payment to hold your schedule, you must e-mail studentaccounts@saumag.edu to request your schedule to be saved. You may also make online payment via E-Cashier.
