MAGNOLIA — Southern Arkansas University will host an open house for its new band hall from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 8.

Eleven members of the Southern Arkansas University, Magnolia, band were chosen to participate in the Arkansas Intercollegiate Band concert at 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16, at the Hot Springs Convention Center.
The AIB is held in conjunction with the Arkansas All-State convention for high school musicians at the Arkansas Music Conference in Hot Springs, Feb
