Students, community members can tour WWII Europe

MAGNOLIA — Students and community members are invited to join in on an exciting international adventure as the Department of History, Political Science and Geography at Southern Arkansas University hosts a tour of World War II Europe.

The trip is planned for May 9-19, 2012, and will be led by Dr. Svetlana Paulson, associate professor of history. Course credit will be available for those who are interested.

During the tour, the group will see war sites in London, visit Churchill’s Cabinet War Rooms, and cross the Channel to see the Normandy beaches. The tour also includes a trip to Paris to learn about the French Resistance and a tour of the battle sites in Bastogne. The trip finishes up in Berlin.
