Southern Arkansas University is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Universities. Programs that prepare teachers and other professional school personnel are accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education and other governing professional associations. The College of Education prepares teachers and other professional personnel for roles in the schools in collaboration with other partner university colleges including the College of Liberal and Performing Arts, the College of Business, the College of Science & Technology, as well as local and regional school districts.
