Director of the Donald W. Reynolds Campus and Community Center

Duties: develop marketing plan for Reynolds Center usage; on-site event coordination; train, hire and evaluate student staff; initiate and maintain contact with group and conference sponsors; manage and develop Reynolds Center budget;  manage and maintain media inventory for staff use; coordinate campus conferences; schedule Reynolds Center using scheduling software; provide information to students, faculty, staff and community users; coordinate, supervise, and evaluate events in the Center (nights and weekends required); generate reports; supervise student workers; setup events; market for the Center; assist Community Offices; performing other tasks and duties assigned directly by the Dean of Students.

Qualifications: Master’s degree is preferred; Bachelor’s degree required.  Experience in marketing/management or related field preferred.  excellent interpersonal skills as well as written and verbal communication skills; apt in learning new software; must be able to handle high degree of customer contact; experience in marketing, scheduling, planning and coordinating events; ability to be “customer service oriented” students, faculty and staff, and community members; willingness to work nights and weekends; detail-oriented; proficient in paperwork; supervisory skills; Microsoft Excel, Work, PowerPoint, and Outlook proficiency.

Accounting Tech, Development Office

Duties: receive, deposit, acknowledge, and report contributions to the Foundation; maintain financial data and donor database; reconcile Foundation accounts with university ledgers’ prepare reports as needed; organize and maintain document storage; prepare mail-merge and bulk mailings; prepare documents and correspondence for distribution; serve as receptionist and schedule appointments; assist with meetings and special functions (occasional evening or weekend events).

Qualifications:  high school diploma or equivalent, baccalaureate degree preferred; experience in office management and bookkeeping; familiarity with computer software and hardware; integrity, reliability, and professional attitude; ability to maintain confidentiality; bondable; attention to detail; ability to work independently and as part of a team; administrative and interpersonal skills; good word processing, spreadsheet and web-based skills; organizational and analytical skills; well-developed communication skills (verbal and written).

Training Coordinator, Small Business and Technology Development Center

Duties: develop, coordinate, and implement training and educational activities in the Center’s assigned territory.  He or she will also develop training calendars, determine seminar locations, schedule programs, coordinate seminar logistics, coordinate volunteer speakers, determine promotional strategies to market seminars, curriculum development, create audio/visual presentations and develop co-sponsor relationships.  The Training Coordinator will teach various seminars and act as host to introduce seminars and speakers.  He or she is responsible for the oversight of reporting paperwork associated with the training program. The Training Coordinator works under the direct supervision of the Center Director and is responsible for all aspects of operating a training program in the Center’s assigned territory.

Qualifications: bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a business related field; Master’s preferred; good oral and written communications skills; proven ability to manage multiple projects; and proficiency in Microsoft Work, PowerPoint, and Windows software.  Experience in Desktop publishing with Adobe InDesign; marketing training programs and special events; doing public speaking; working with volunteers; coordinating training or special events; and developing new curriculum is preferred.
