  • *Blood sugar
  • *Allergy injections, physician-ordered
  • Physician-ordered treatments
  • Blood pressure monitoring
  • *Cholesterol screening
  • *Urine pregnancy tests
  • *Hepatitis-B immunization
  • Heart rate checks
  • Temperature checks
  • Dressing changes
  • Muscular/Skeletal injuries, assessments, and treatments accordingly
  • Treatment of upper respiratory infections and urinary tract infections
  • Treatment of limited insect bites
  • HIV counseling and referral
  • *Urinalysis

Self-Care Station

At the Self-care Station, there are a variety of non-prescription medications available with the Residence Assistance in each dormitory. These medications come pre-packaged in a one-day supply with instructions, precautions, and contraindications for use. University Health Services also provides MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella), meningitis, Hepatitis B, andĀ TB screening.
