Student Employment

The Student Employment Office is responsible for student worker training, maintaining a file of student worker data sheets, and posting on-campus and part-time off-campus employment opportunities in a job notebook.

Students wanting to work on campus should complete a student worker data sheet to provide current contact information and work hours available.

Student worker training is provided to help students develop workplace skills and to share tips for being successful in on-campus jobs. Training is mandatory, and students must complete one training session during the semester in which they begin working on campus. Training schedules are posted on student email accounts and campus bulletin boards.

Students should contact the Student Employment Office, Reynolds 217, 870-235-5115, to enroll in a training session.

Student workers are also expected to follow the guidelines in the Student Worker Employment Policy administered by the SAU Office of Financial Aid.
