Student Worker for Social Networking Site

Blind Ad–Department Name Withheld

  • Department is seeking a dynamic, campus-involved student worker who is proficient in interacting on sites such as Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, FriendFeed, etc.
  • Sophomore or Junior preferred
  • Must be trustworthy and able to monitor and interact on departmental social media sites in an appropriate manner for University correspondence
  • Must be creative and highly responsive
  • Federal Work Study

Applicants should submit their social media profile information and any ideas they may have on improving the presence of an SAU department on these sites.

Applicants should submit a completed Student Worker Data Sheet.

Both documents should be submitted to the Student Employment Office, Reynolds 217.  Documents will be forwarded to the department for review.

Interviews will begin October 12.

Job requires posing nude or in brief attire for 2 to 30-minute intervals.

Males and females may apply.

Must be available for class:  Monday-Wednesday-Friday, 12:10-2 p.m.

Pay:  $8 an hour for clothed model and $15 an hour for nude model.

Tutors in Tutoring Center

Assist students with course work in selected subject area.

Must have at least a ‘B’ in subject tutored.
Must have good communication/English skills.
Sophomore-Senior classification required.
No tutoring experience is required.  Training is provided.

Drivers–Upward Bound

Will transport high school students to SAU for meetings and take them back to their schools.

Must be 21 years of age. Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.

Tutors–Upward Bound

Must be a sophomore or at least 2 years removed from high school.
Must have 2.8 cumulative GPA and at least a “B” or better in subject to be tutored.
GPA will be checked.

Tutors are needed for the following subjects:  Math, Algebra, Geometry, Science, Chemistry, Biology, English, Spanish, French, Social Science.
