The mission of Teacher Education Committee is to recommend, monitor and evaluate programs and policies governing teacher education.

- Chair, Dean of the College of Education
- Ten faculties representing each of the following areas: Counseling and Professional Studies, Teacher Education, Health, Kinesiology, and Recreation, Director of AFEL, Coordinator of NCATE, Coordinator of M.Ed and MAT online, College of Liberal and Performing Arts/Music, College of Science and Technology and College of Business.
- One Undergraduate Education student appointed by Student Government Association; One Graduate Edcuation student appointed by Graduate Council; One Public/private P-12 teacher appointed by the dean of the College of Education; One Public/Private P-12 administrator appointed by the dean of the College of Education
All ex officio are non-voting:
- Vice President of Academic Affairs, ex officio
- Dean of School of Graduate Studies, ex officio
- Registrar, ex officio
- Director of Library and Information Services, ex officio
- Educational Renewal Zone Director, ex officio
