The mission of the College of Education is to prepare teacher education and other school personnel candidates, and students preparing for professions in Counseling, and Health, Kinesiology and Recreation as professional members and leaders of collaborative teams.  Our undergraduate degree programs include early childhood education P-4, Middle School Education, Athletic Training, Exercise Science, and Human Performance, Recreation and Community Service. We also offer the teacher education minor in agricultural education (7-12), business administration, and music education.

The College also houses graduate degree programs in school counseling, mental health counseling, and student affairs and college counseling, educational administration and supervision, and library media and information specialist. On-line graduate degree programs offered by the College of Education include kinesiology, elementary or secondary education with area focus on curriculum and instruction, special education early childhood, instructional specialist P-4, and/or 4-12, math/science, gifted/talented P-8/7-12, and MAT.
