Dr. Khalil Dajani joined the faculty at SAU as a Professor of Math and Computer Science in 2012.  Prior to SAU, he was with Albany State, West Virginia and Toledo universities. He is the founder of the Center of Excellence in Information Assurance and Networking Certification Academy at Albany State. He also completed postdoctoral associate at The University of Toledo in collaboration with the Toledo Hospital on research of Computer Imaging  with medical applications. Dr. Dajani’s research interests are in the areas of Information Assurance, Cyber Security, Imaging & Animation and Computer Networks. His research collaboration activities have been supported by NSF, NASA, DoD, NIH and HBCU-UP.  He presently consults for NASA and information technology related industry. He also has several publications in Scientific Journals and served on steering committees for many scientific and national conferences. Dr. Dajani has been an investigator on grants supported by federal and state agencies with several US patent contributions.
