Dr. Brian S. Canfield is Professor of Counselor Education at Southern Arkansas University. He is a licensed professional counselor (LA), a licensed marriage and family therapist (LA), a clinical member and approved supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and he has been a licensed psychologist in Arkansas since 1986. His active research interests include “intercultural counseling,” and “professional practice issues.” He is a past president of the American Counseling Association (2007-2008).
