Graduated with B.A. in graphic design from SAU in 1999. Got my start in journalism as a political cartoonist at “The Bray” and spent 12 years working as a reporter, columnist, writer, editor, illustrator/cartoonist and occasional photographer for WEHCO Media, Stephens Media and “The Birmingham News” (Birmingham, Ala.). Returned to SAU in 2010 as project coordinator for communications.
