…aaaand we’re back!
Now that your Muleriders have made it to the University and begun to settle in, I thought it would be nice to inform you of some upcoming events that may be of interest to you. On August 29th, preceding the first home football game, there will be Mulegating and the Dedication of the Alumni Bridge at the SAU Welcome Center. On Saturday, September 19th, the Great Southern Arkansas Mule Ride will take place. This is a continuation of the year-long Centennial Celebration and will pay tribute to the University’s heritage and unique athletic mascot – the Mulerider. Family Day will be held on Saturday, October 3rd. During this event, students will participate in the Annual Bed Race, the Greek Canoe Races, and several other activities on campus. I encourage your family to attend to support your Mulerider! We will celebrate Homecoming on Saturday, October 17th. At this time our King and Queen will be crowned, followed by a game of Mulerider Football.
For a complete calendar, you can just look to the right of this page! Please feel free to attend as many events as you want. It is a great way to show support for your Mulerider, as well as for their school.
