A high school student with at least a 2.00 cumulative grade point average and a minimum score of 16 on the ACT may be recommended for a performance scholarship in band after an audition. Only full-time students may receive performance scholarships, and a student may receive only one such scholarship. The scholarship award is variable and may be continued through subsequent semesters providing the recipient maintains at least a 2.00 cumulative grade point average, completes at least 12 semester hours on the Magnolia campus each semester, and is enrolled in the SAU Band.
