National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) sororities are national and international organizations with chapters at four-year colleges and universities in the United States and Canada. Southern Arkansas University have three of the twenty-six NPC member sororities: Alpha Sigma Alpha, Phi Mu, and Sigma Sigma Sigma.
While at Southern Arkansas University, these NPC sororities offer a home away from home and encourage individual, personal, and leadership development within a smaller group of friends in the SAU environment.
Our sororities, as well as NPC encourage academic achievement, the development of leadership skills and community service. Each sorority sponsors philanthropic activities which include the support of its national philanthropies and local nonprofit organizations in the SAU and Magnolia community.
When your college experience at Southern Arkansas University is finished, your sorority affiliation continues with your sorority sisters. These special friends you have made during your time at SAU are nurtured by alumnae activities and networking programs that provide opportunities for continued camaraderie, service, and personal development among women with shared values and objectives.
The NPC sororities at Southern Arkansas University are values-based and committed to worthwhile endeavors. Members are expected to maintain the high standards set by their sorority as well as the values established by the founders of the organization.
We invite you to take a closer look at each of our sororities and encourage you to consider becoming a part of our Greek family.
