Mission
- To promote the interests of the university.
- To promote the interests of the fraternities and sororities.
- To serve as the governing and coordinating body for all SAU fraternities and sororities.
- To ensure cooperation between authorities to the end that conditions of the fraternities and sororities and their relations with the university authorities may be favorably maintained.
- To ensure cooperation among the fraternities and sororities of the campus.
- To discuss questions of mutual interest and to present to the fraternities and sororities such recommendations as it sees fit.
Who is Eligible for Membership?
- Any social fraternity or sorority of SAU approved by the university authorities is eligible for membership.
When Does the IGC Meet?
- Regular meetings of the council shall be held at least once a month.
- Special meetings may be called by the President at any time and must be called by the President at the request of any two delegates.
- Notice of special meetings shall be given to the delegation of each fraternity and sorority.
